Pastor Seclanda Candy gained the respect of the business community by her contributions to Xerox Corporation, Federal Express Corporation , General Electric and DBM where she spent over 20 years in positions ranging from Sales Executive, Managing Consultant, Executive Coach and Vice President.
Pastor Candy is Owner and served as President of a career and business coaching practice, The Metamorphosis Group, Inc., which she launched over 30 years ago. She worked with professionals, entrepreneurs and small business owners in their quest to penetrate markets, improve work performance, and grow professionally.
She served as a Mentor through the Chicago Menttium 100 Program assisting women to become better business women, find balance in their roles that often come with being a professional woman.
Pastor Candy was selected and trained by Dr. Bruce Wilkerson, author of “The Prayer of Jabez” as one of the coaches to deliver his program, “The Dream Giver”. She is a certified graduate of Coach U and holds the distinction of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation. She is a member of International Christian Coaches Network.
Pastor Candy was a licensed Teacher in the State of Illinois until she retired her license with the Chicago Public Schools System in 2017.
She was a faithful member of Living Word Christian Center under the tutelage of Dr. Bill Winston for over 26 years. There she served 9 years on the TV Ministry as Camera person and Director and she is currently serving as a virtual faculty member of The Joseph Business School for Entrepreneurs where she teaches and serves as an Advisor to students.
She also served as an Advisor to The Illinois Small Business Administration.
Pastor Candy moved to Nashville, TN with her late husband in 2015 and endured the untimely death of Stanley Gellineau 6 months later.
Pastor Candy has a support ministry, where she coaches, mentors and supports women. She worships God in obedience to His Word through Above the Clouds Ministry, supporting the homeless, and praying for those in need of prayer.
She has remarried and now worships with her husband, Harold Wilson Jr. at Mt. Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church in Nashville, TN.
