Apostle Phyllis Terry is the founder of God’s Way International Ministries, Inc.              Apostle Terry is Apostolic Missionary who God has raised up and sent to nations                 as a trailblazer and pioneer for the Kingdom of God.  Known for her tenacity in             prayer, she has grasped an end-time vision that will certainly advance the Kingdom.    History has always denoted individuals within the body of Christ that God has used             as catalyst to pioneer and etch out new pathways in provoking change within the             lives of His people.  Truly, Apostle Terry is one of the twenty-first century prototypes            of this model that God has sanctioned.  Her entire pilgrimage with the Lord has been a defining moment in time, which only history books will be able to give the accounts.  

She is a weapon of warfare liken unto a Blacksmith in the body of Christ, releasing  revelation that causes plowshares to be beaten into swords.  Often as she speaks,  ministries are launched and ministry gifts are stirred up to activation.  This mother of         many nations has birthed and mentored numerous sons and daughters as well as        trained a myriad of intercessors for God’s End-Time Army. 

Apostle Terry lives a consecrated and dedicated life to the Lord.  In 2002, God        challenged her with an assigned mandate of a 72-day (water only) fast.  It was after           this period of purification and consecration that God released an even greater yoke   breaking anointing upon her life.  

She is a General in intercession and spiritual warfare.  Apostle Terry is frequently         sought out as an international conference speaker whose voice thunders forth with an apostolic and prophetic sound.  Her international ministry sphere has taken her to such places as Germany, Africa, Middle East,  Turkey, Philippines, Bahrain, Israel, France,    Spain, India, Jamaica, Korea, Cambodia, Portugal plus other nations and states     throughout the United States.

Dr. “”Phyl”” as called by many is also known for her anointed writings.  She is the          author of several books:  Fasting A Weapon of Breakthrough, Powerful Saying To           Keep You Praying, Words of Worship with Phrases of Praise, Paralysis of       Prayerlessness, Plenty of Prayer, Plenty of Pain and GAP MAP — An Intercessor         Prayer Manual.  Apostle Terry is an entrepreneur, whereby her marketplace and       business anointing allows her to provide resources, clothing and accessories that   enhances the “Total You.”  Dr. Phyl ultimate goal is to empower, impact and help       increase the Kingdom of God by any means necessary.

Formerly she served as the Co-Pastor, along with her husband, Apostle Thomas            Terry, Jr., of God’s Way Love Center in Okinawa, Japan for 15 years.  Presently, she             is the owner of J C’’s Kitchen restaurant in Durham, NC, where the “Marketplace       Ministry” is in full operation.   

Apostle Terry has a degree in Business Education from Winston-Salem State           University and a MBA in Business Administration from North Carolina Central        University.   She also holds a Master’s of Divinity from Oral Roberts University, and a Doctorate in Theology. “Dr. Phyl” reigns from Durham, North Carolina.
